Family Weekends

Jump into a forest of wildlife at Discovery Creek Children's Museum's Forest Tales immersion exhibition in Glen Echo Park! Meet and greet live animals, explore our touch cubbies, search under leaves for critters in the Children's Garden, play in an oversized sandpit, explore Minnehaha Creek, take an educator-led interpretative hike to check for evidence of our forest friends, while spending quality time with the entire family and learning together!

Fall and winter
Open 10am - 3pm on weekends (Sat. and Sun.) in March, April, May, June, July and August.

Nonmembers: $5
Seniors 65+: $3
Infants (under 2 years): FREE
